Col Charvet. Ski tour with UniGe.

Today we ski-toured to the Col Charvet (2380 m), the Col between Mont Charvet and Mont Chombas. The best description that I’ve found in net is this – Col des Chombas, but it is not exactly what we did.

Tête Pelouse. Ski tour with UniGe.

Nice ski-tour with UniGe to Tête Pelouse par la Combe de Grand Crêt. Finally we have snow. I have broken my ribs 2 days ago, but I could not miss this ski-tour. It was not so bad while we ascending, but getting a bit painful on the skiing down. Nevertheless it did not spoil a… Read more »

Dômes de Miage. Ski tour with UniGe.

On the weekend of April 8-10 we made the ski traverse of Dômes de Miage (3673 m) organized by UNIGE ski club, with Michel Piola and Christian Hug. It was a great outing, even though the weather on Saturday was quite nasty.

My first exit this year when we were not obliged to change our plans and when I was able to see something. We started at the Parking Vallon, la Lanche (Le Reposoir) – 1070 m…. Read more »

Petit Bargy. Ski tour with UniGe.

Ski touring season is open! In spite on the lack of snow we opened the ski touring season. We went with one of the “traditional” UniGe ski tours – Petit Bargy: Depuis Le Reposoir. Remarkable sunny day and a nice company with Dominique and Geneviève.

Pentecôte en rando-grimpe à Emosson (massif du Mont-Blanc)

The idea of this long week-end was to combine climbing and a ski-tour. In May the weather is warm and sunny, making it possible to climb on quite a high altitude. At the same time there were still enough snow to rich some nice climbing spots on ski.
